Dragon Diffusion specialises in handcrafted woven leather bags, created using a distinctive hand-braiding technique that honours traditional leather craftsmanship. Each piece is finished using a unique natural vegetable-dyeing process, lending each style rich character and individuality. The brand draws inspiration from basket-weaving traditions around the world, from Japanese bamboo basketry to the woven fibre baskets crafted from natural plant materials by ethnic communities across the South Pacific.

Founded in 1986, Dries Van Noten has ensured his namesake label has veered from the trend-driven world of fashion, creating a uniquely cohesive style - easily recognisable and generally irreplaceable.

Borrowing elements from classic tailoring, while imbuing his own sense of distinctive print-work and colour, the designer notably remains at the helm of the label he started shortly after graduating from Antwerp’s Academy of Fine Arts.
