When can I drop my items off?
Feel free to pop in the store anytime during our opening hours. If you live out of Auckland you can get in touch with our team to send us your recycle.
What brands do you take?
We prefer not to be overly restrictive based solely on labels. At Scotties, we seek well-constructed, durable pieces that our customers seek. As a result, fast fashion items may not be chosen.
Items accepted must be in good condition and work seasonally.

What percentage do I receive from consignment when my item(s) sell?
If you prefer a store credit, we take 45% and you receive 55% to spend in-store. If you choose cash back, we take 55% and you receive 45%. Please note that once a consignment has been converted to store credit, it cannot be split or converted to cash back.
Who determines prices?
The acceptance of any item into stock and its pricing will be determined solely by Scotties Recycle Team. Still, we will take into account the condition of the item and the price originally paid by the consignor. Scotties Recycle Team may request proof of authenticity for luxury items or items of a certain value.
Do you wash, dry-clean or mend my items?
Please ensure that items are clean, in good condition, and have been dry-cleaned or washed before bringing them in.
How can I find out what has sold?
Consignors take sole responsibility at all times for keeping in contact with Scotties Recycle to determine if items are sold or for collecting any payments due. You may contact us anytime by emailing recycle@scottiesboutique.co.nz to see if any of your garments have sold.
How do I collect my payout?
You may contact us anytime by emailing recycle@scottiesboutique.co.nz to check on your account and to be paid out via bank transfers. Please note this can take up to 7 business days.
I’ve changed my mind and what to collect my items?
You're welcome to withdraw your items at any time during the consignment period. Simply visit the store, personally locate them and have a team member reconcile your account.
What if I do not want my items to be discounted?
You're welcome to withdraw your items at any time during the consignment period. If you prefer not to have your items sold at a discounted price, please be aware of when they will be discounted and visit us before the price drops.
If you're unsure of the discount dates for your items, we encourage you to get in touch with us.
I did not make it in time for my items to be collected, can I still pick them up?
Unfortunately due to our limited storage space and some consignors who sell with us we need to adhere to the 7-day holding period for returns. If they are not collected within that time they will be donated to charity.
How do I know when my unsold items or unaccepted items are ready to collect?
We will send you a text message for collection. Please note to double-check your phone number when you fill out a drop-off form.
