The unique weave used to make this boxy, buffalo calf leather basket forms vertical lines, creating a bi-colour pattern we call our “lizard weave”. Complete with braided trim and handles, the Cannage Lizard comes unlined with an open top, remaining true to traditional basket weaving techniques.

Dragon Diffusion creates handmade woven leather handbags that are handcrafted with respect for tradition. Hand Braiding technique has been developed through respect for Traditional Leather Craft and the natural vegetable dying process of leather straps is unique. Inspired by traditional Basket Weaving cultures from Japanese Bamboo Basketry to Fibre baskets crafted from natural plants by ethnic South Pacific communities.
